Cookie Policy

Cookie Policy.

What we store in your browser and why.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. We use cookies and similar storage (including local storage) to operate iKnowsome1, keep you signed in, and remember your choices.

2. Strictly-Necessary Cookies

These are essential for the platform to function and cannot be switched off:

Session cookie

Keeps you signed in and maintains your session state as you navigate.

CSRF cookie/token

Protects forms against cross-site request forgery.

Auth cookie

Remembers your authenticated state and security flags.

Legal basis: contract necessity / legal obligation (security). These do not require opt-in consent.

3. Remember-Me Cookie (Dormant)

A remember-me / persistent login cookie capability exists but is currently dormant (not actively used). If enabled in future, it will keep you signed in on trusted devices for a disclosed period, and this policy will be updated before activation.

4. Preferences

With your consent we may store functional preferences such as language, theme, or notification settings so you don't have to re-enter them. You can clear or reset these at any time via your browser settings or by contacting us.

5. Analytics — None Currently

We do not currently use third-party analytics or advertising cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy and seek consent before setting any non-essential third-party cookies.

6. Managing Cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Note that blocking strictly-necessary cookies will prevent sign-in and core features (hiring, messaging, payments) from working.
